Last Saturday marked the first EDUcare programme at Maha Karuna Vihara โ Maha Karunaโs shelter after 25 years of EDUCare outreach. A meaningful beginning filled with smiles, learning, warmth and community. Some of us were touched to tears.
We are deeply blessed, because of you โ those who contributed time, resources, energy, and heart to make this humble home possible for community spiritual growth. Although the building is still under renovation, your support allowed us to create a safe and joyful space for the children to learn, laugh, and receive love. Their bright smiles were the greatest reward of all. 
This round, 156 beneficiary students from 3 schools โ SJKC Sg Buloh, SJKC Soo Jin, SJKC Subang, and SJKC San Yuk (Rawang) for the morning session โ were presented at Maha Karuna Vihara to receive the school bags, uniforms and shoes. While, in the noon, we welcome 55 students from Myanmar Refugee Education Centre. There is a total of 8,124 beneficiary students under Phase 1 of the 25th EDUCare Program.
During the day, our dedicated volunteers too engaged with the children through games and songs, helping them learn important values in a fun and interactive way.
May the seeds of compassion planted in their hearts continue to grow โ gently, quietly, beautifully โ and may that joy return to you like light returning to its source.
