于二零二一年五月十日，宏慈佛教会分发粮食于斯里兰卡受疫情影响的贫困家庭。受惠家庭一共50户，皆因疫情断失收入来源。

On 10 May 2021, Maha Karuna Buddhist Society donated dried food provision to those families who were badly affected by the Covid-19 pandemic. A total of 50 needy families were selected to receive the aids, those who had lost their income resources due to the pandemic.
