【Maha Karuna Buddhist Society Malaysia】 | 16 August 2026 ｜Maha Sanghika Dana
We rejoice in the Maha Sanghika Dana held on 16 August 2026, following the inauguration of Maha Karuna Vihara on 8 August 2026 and eight days of chanting dedicated to national harmony, peace and prosperity, and world peace.
On this meaningful day, 66 Sangha members gathered to receive Dana, robes and other requisites. More than 500 Sangha members and devotees came together to share in this meritorious occasion.
A complimentary vegetarian lunch was also served to the public, allowing everyone present to share in the simple joy of generosity and fellowship.
While we are deeply grateful that the Vihara is ready and being a safe place for public to visit and connect with Dhamma, we humbly acknowledge that the inauguration is not the completion of the Vihara. There is still much to be done.
We continue our efforts to gather the remaining funds for the final construction payment, approximately 15% of the total project cost. We are sincerely grateful for every act of kindness, support and contribution that has established this vihara.
As we look ahead, our aspiration is not only to complete the physical Vihara, but also to nurture it as a humble and meaningful place for Dhamma learning, practice, spiritual cultivation, propagation and community service.
May Maha Karuna Vihara remain a peaceful place where generations may come to learn the Dhamma, reflect within, cultivate wholesome qualities and purify the mind.
May this sacred place, through the collective efforts of many, continue to bring peace, wisdom, compassion and blessings to all.
Our heartfelt appreciation to the Sangha, devotees, volunteers, and well-wishers who have walked this journey with us.
May we continue this journey together, with gratitude, humility and faith in the Dhamma.
May all beings be well, peaceful and blessed.
【马来西亚宏慈佛教会】｜2026年8月16日｜僧团大供养（Maha Sanghika Dana）
我们怀着感恩与法喜的心，回顾于 2026年8月16日 举行的僧团大供养。此次殊胜法会，是继 8月8日宏慈寺开幕典礼 以及随后八天以国泰民安、和平繁荣与世界和平为祈愿的诵经活动后所举行。
在这意义深长的一天，共有 66位僧众 莅临接受供养、袈裟及生活必需品。当天超过 500位僧众与善信 齐聚宏慈寺，共同参与这一充满善意与功德的殊胜因缘。
同时，宏慈寺也为公众免费提供素食午餐，让大家能够在简单而温馨的氛围中，共享布施的喜悦与彼此结缘的善意。
虽然我们深深感恩宏慈寺已经能够安全地开放，让大众前来亲近、学习与接触佛法，但我们也谦卑地知道，开幕并不代表寺院已经完全建设完成，前方仍有许多工作需要继续努力。
目前，佛教会仍在积极筹募寺院建设最后约 15%的工程款项。一路走来，宏慈寺能够逐步建立，离不开每一位善心人士的付出与护持。对于每一份心意与善行，佛教会都由衷感谢。
展望未来，佛教会的愿心不只是完成寺院的建设，更希望将宏慈寺逐步发展成为一个朴实而有意义的道场，持续推动佛法教育、佛法修学、心灵培育、弘法活动及社区服务，让更多人有机会亲近佛法、学习佛法与实践佛法。
愿宏慈寺继续成为一个祥和、安宁的地方，让一代又一代的人能够在这里学习佛法、反观自心、培育善念，并通过修行净化身心。
愿这片因众人共同发心而成就的清净道场，继续为大众带来和平、智慧、慈悲与福慧。
衷心随喜所有僧众、善信、义工及一路以来给予护持的善心人士。感谢大家与宏慈佛教会共同走过这段殊胜而不易的道路。
愿我们继续以感恩之心、谦卑之心与对佛法的信念，一步一步走下去。
愿一切众生平安、自在、吉祥。
