With great humility, Maha Karuna Buddhist Society Malaysia shares that we have extended our relief today to 27 monasteries and nunneries across Myitthar City, Mandalay, and the Sagaing Hills region of Myanmar, which have been severely impacted by the recent earthquake.
Today, despite the heavy rain restricting movement, it did not stop us or our dedicated volunteers from quickly delivering the much-needed relief to the affected communities. We remain committed to providing assistance even in challenging conditions.
As of now, a total of RM60,000 has been sent to support the ongoing relief work. Every act of kindnessโno matter how large or smallโcan bring profound change. Your generous support has not only provided essential aid but has also rekindled hope in those who had lost everything. By extending a helping hand, we renew their strength and offer them the courage to rebuild.
Every resource has been carefully planned and directed to ensure it reaches the recipients who need it most. This thoughtful and meticulous effort ensures that the aid provided is impactful and effective in supporting the communities through this difficult time.
