【𝐌𝐚𝐥𝐚𝐲𝐬𝐢𝐚 𝐌𝐚𝐡𝐚 𝐊𝐚𝐫𝐮𝐧𝐚 𝐁𝐮𝐝𝐝𝐡𝐢𝐬𝐭 𝐒𝐨𝐜𝐢𝐞𝐭𝐲】𝟐𝟑 𝐉𝐚𝐧𝐮𝐚𝐫𝐲 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟓 | 𝟓𝟐 𝐂𝐨𝐰𝐬 𝐖𝐞𝐫𝐞 𝐋𝐢𝐛𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐢𝐧 𝐒𝐫𝐢 𝐋𝐚𝐧𝐤𝐚
On 9 January and 20 January 2025, a total of 52 cows were liberated in Sri Lanka under the Cow Liberation program organised by Maha Karuna Buddhist Society. More cows will be liberated from 29 January 2025 until March 2025.
In Buddhism, giving fearlessness for other living beings is called as “Abhaya Dana” and it is one of the greatest Meritorious Deeds.
By liberating the cows, we support the beings to live a peaceful and happy life. Second, in long term we support the livelihoods of the poor families (beneficiaries)
Upon handing over the cows to beneficiaries, the Master preaches the meaning of such liberation activities and the obligation of the adopted families. At the same time, blessings shared upon the cows, farmer families and the givers.
We rejoice in the Kalyanamitta’s virtues in performing life liberation. May all beings be well and happy.
【马来西亚宏慈佛教会】 2025年1月23日| 52 头牛放生于斯里兰卡
于2025年1月9日 及2025年1月20日，总计 52头牛被放生于斯里兰卡。其次，更多的牛只将在2025年1月29日起至2025年3月期间被放生。
在佛教中，给予其他众生无畏被称为 – “无畏布施”，这是最伟大可赞许的美德之一。
通过放生奶牛，我们支持众生过上和平幸福的生活，给予众生再生的机缘。
其二、得以长期支持贫困家庭（受益人）的生计。
在交付奶牛于再生家庭时，法师向每户接受奶牛的农夫家庭讲述此放生活动的意义，再生家庭的义务及其收养责任。同时给予牛只，该家庭及成就布施者祝福。
随喜善友护持放生的功德，祈愿一切众生平安吉祥。
