In the afternoon of Vesak Day, Buddhist members offered Dana to members of Maha Sangha.
Devotees continue to visit the Vesak Celebration event since morning, paying tribute to the three jewels, attend to dew showering of baby Buddha image ceremony. Buddha Jayanti exhibition was displayed for the public to understand better about Buddhism, its history and development.
Besides, charity counters were also set up to provide opportunity for the public to perform meritorious deed on this auspicious day. Mass Food offering was performed for more the public members.
On the night of Vesak Day, Buddhist devotees sat together listen to Dhamma sermon delivered by Chief Reverend B Sri Saranankara Maha Thera, followed by reflecting on Buddhaโs virtue, sharing of merit and meditate on radiating loving kindness to all sentients beings.
This event is co-organised by Genting Buddhist Society and Maha Karuna Buddhist Society. We would like to honor all parties involved in making this Vesak celebration a blessed one, i.e the venue sponsor, Genting Resort World management team,GICC Business Centre, well-wishers who contributed in kind, voluntary faciltitators,
Sangha members and Buddhist devotees.
Voluntary facilitators of the event worked tirelessly and selflessly for weeks to prepare for the event which is commendable. Volunteers immediately reinstated the event space after the event end.

for the well being and ultimate happiness of many.
