සුභ අලුත් අවුරුද්දක වෙවා! Happy Sinhalese and Tamil new year to all celebrating.

“Aluth Avurudda and Puthandu” is celebrated marking the end of the harvest season and the start of the new beginnings. . This revered tradition takes many back to their childhood and has a special place in their heart. Today symbolises transition of the Sun from the House of Pisces to the House of Aries marks the beginning of the New Year (Aluth Avurudu). The Sri Lankan New Year is a time to express gratitude for the bounty of the old year and celebrate the dawning of a new year.
