In February 2024, Maha Karuna Buddhist Society KL & Selangor had sponsored 6 scholar Sangha members and 1 companion mentor from Sri Lanka for a study tour.

This marks the 19th Study Tour which is an annual effort where Maha Karuna Buddhist Society sponsored the program of the Sangha members to Malaysia as a recognition for their academic achievement and encouragement for the top scholars excelled in the Ordinary Level Pirivena Examination throughout Sri Lanka. They were invited to Malaysia on a study tour courtesy of Chief Reverend Bootawatte Sri Saranankara Nayaka Maha Thera, the Founder and Spiritual Advisor of Maha Karuna Buddhist Society KL & Sel, Malaysia. We would also like to rejoice the involvement and support of well wishers in this initiative.

The study trip allow them to learn more about the Buddhist educational efforts in Malaysia among different Buddhist Schools. Besides that, enrichment workshops had been conducted to introduce community soft-skill and culture. They were amongst the top scholars throughout Sri Lanka in Pāli, Sanskrit and Sinhalese languages, having excelled in national Buddhist examinations there.

【马来西亚宏慈佛教会】2024年3月27日| 年度赞助斯里兰卡僧侣学者学习交流马来西亚

2024 年 2 月，马来西亚宏慈佛教会赞助 6 位来自斯里兰卡的学者僧伽成员及1位随行僧侣老师到访马来西亚。这标志着第 19 届的学习交流活动，也是马来西亚宏慈佛教会每年赞助学生僧团成员前往马来西亚学术考察的交流，以表彰他们的学术成就和对整个斯里兰傑出学者的鼓励。他们受邀至马来西亚进行實地学习。这项目是由马来西亚宏慈佛教会的创始人和精神顾问尊者斯里沙拉南加拉长老啟建。随喜赞叹参与护持的各界佛友。

此學習團让他们更了解马来西亚的佛教教育工作，概括了佛教裡各学校传承。除此之外，宏慈佛教会也在此旅程中举办研讨培训课程，包括文化价值观观摩和学习社区软技能。青年僧侶們是整个斯里兰卡巴利语、梵语和僧伽罗语的顶尖学者之一，在其国内佛教考试中表现傑出。
