Coinciding with the Rain Retreat Season (Vassa) in 2023, under the guidance of Chief Venerable Bootawatte Sri Saranakara Maha Thera, the Maha Karuna Buddhist Society Malaysia once again held an offering for thousands of Sangha Members. This event took 18 days since its initiation, and was successfully completed on Chinese Lunar Calendar full moon day of 15th month August, 2023, by offering meals and dry food ratio to more than 5,000 members of Maha Sangha.
