On 26 May 2023, Sangha Dana was offered at Pahalagama Somarathana Viharaya, Gampaha, Western Province in Sri Lanka. There were total 200 young monks being invited from rural area to receive the Sangha Dana. At the event, 70 pregnant women were invited to receive necessary equipment for the mothers and the coming of their little one. Temporary book store were set up in the temple compound that equipped with variety of Buddhism books. Each sangha member was given purchase coupon sponsored by Maha Karuna. After the lunch, young monks happily head to the bookstore to select the books they need.
