【𝐌𝐚𝐡𝐚 𝐊𝐚𝐫𝐮𝐧𝐚 𝐁𝐮𝐝𝐝𝐡𝐢𝐬𝐭 𝐒𝐨𝐜𝐢𝐞𝐭𝐲 𝐌𝐚𝐥𝐚𝐲𝐬𝐢𝐚】𝟐𝟏 𝐅𝐞𝐛𝐫𝐮𝐚𝐫𝐲 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟑 | 𝐌𝐚𝐡𝐚 𝐒𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐡𝐢𝐤𝐚 𝐃𝐚𝐧𝐚 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐏𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐓𝐡𝐨𝐮𝐬𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐒𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐡𝐚 𝐌𝐞𝐦𝐛𝐞𝐫𝐬 𝐚𝐭 𝐁𝐚𝐝𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐰𝐞𝐥𝐚, 𝐒𝐫𝐢 𝐋𝐚𝐧𝐤𝐚.
On 21 February 2023, Maha Sanghika Dana was offered at local time 11:30am with the presence of thousand Sangha Members from Mahiyagana, Gorandirikotte, Ridhimaliyadda, Meetahakivula, Kandeketiya, Soranathota, Uvaparanagama South & North, Welimada, Ella, Lunugala, Passara, Badulla, Haldummulla, Heliala East, Haputale etc.
Maha Karuna Buddhist Society offered Maha Sanghika Dana for thousand monks under the guidance of Chief Reverend B Sri Saranankara Maha Thero each year in Sri Lanka annually since early of year 2000’.
This Sangha Dana is performed with the support of many sangha members and All Island Buddhist Sasana led by Rev Anurudha Thero,unwaveringly support from Sir Janaka Nishantha Rathnayake, the Mayor of Bandarawela Municipal Council and authority members, legislative personnel and local volunteers in coordinating the preparation, couple of weeks to make it a successful one.
On the same day, crockery set and stationery were offer to 50 temples in the region.
May the merits of Sangha Dana offering blessed upon each and every sentient beings for their happiness and well being.
