On Saturday 10 December, we joyfully hosted a day EDUCare program for 136 underprivileged students. EDUcare program is established since year 2001 with the aims to help lessen the burden of underprivileged community in preparing their children for new school term by providing school bags items. Early in the morning, facilitators welcomed the teachers, parents and children. The programme started by interacting with the children.

During the gathering at Denai Alam Recreation Club, activities and educational talk were organised to enrich the younger generations by imparting them with the necessary knowledge, skills and moral values.

Attention and care were given equally to every child. Educators had interaction with the parents. Every child brings home a school bag with school uniforms, shoes, stationery and happy memory from the EDUCare program.

It is the spirit of selflessness that defines our community of volunteers who come from all walks of life. Professionals, teachers, youths, teenagers, home-makers and those retired work together harmoniously and with care for each other and our children.

We thank each and every one of our members, voluntary facilitators for your dedication and commitment to make this EDUCare 1 day program a heart warming one.
