๐๐๐๐ – Kathina Ceremony Sponsorship 2021
On 11 November 2021, Maha Karuna Buddhist Society, Malaysia had performed sponsorship towards Noung Koung Temple at Savanakhat Songkon district, Xebunghieng Village, Laos, to organise their Kathina Ceremony. There will be a two day event on 11 & 12 November 2021.
On 11 November, villagers all gathered to help out for the Kathina Ceremony decoration and food are prepared for them. In the evening, 9 monks are invited for whole night chanting (Phra Parit Chanting). On 12 November, the Kathina Day, 71 monks will present at the temple and more than 150 villagers will attend the Kathina Ceremony and food will be served.

This International Kathina Ceremony programme will take place in more than 108 monasteries at remote area, over 8 countries, from 20 October 2021 until 19 November 2021.
