Giving serves as a way to eliminate one’s greed and ill-will. … Generosity is more than a practice for personal development, it is a universal concept that every one of us has benefitted from.

It has been 20 years since Chief Rev B. Siri Saranankana Nayaka Maha Thera established the Maha Karuna Buddhist Society and initiated this Edu Care Program to support needy school children.

To help prepare the children to back to school, the team presented 90 set of school bags, stationeries, 1kg Milo, Nestum and Milk powder to 90 selected school children from SK Sungai Bumbun (A) for #𝐎𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐀𝐬𝐥𝐢𝐌𝐚𝐡𝐌𝐞𝐫𝐢 kids. #𝐄𝐃𝐔𝐂𝐚𝐫𝐞 We felt so blessed to see the smiles on the kids’ faces!

Besides that, parents of the students received 5kg rice and dry food rations. Shout out to all well-wishers and volunteers for your great support. We are very grateful to the main sponsor in this event, #NestleMalaysia and #JayaGrocer.

这已是第廿年，自尊者斯里沙拉南加拉长老成立宏慈佛教会和开启这关怀教育计划，以支助有需要的学童。

为了协助玛美里族学童准备开心回到校园， 宏慈佛教会为 SK Sungai Bumbun (A) 玛美里族的孩子们带来了90 套书包，文具 ，美禄 ， 麦片，奶粉等。 #𝐄𝐃𝐔𝐂𝐚𝐫𝐞 见到孩子脸上的笑容是我们最大的欣慰！

除此之外，学童的父母亲亦获得5公斤大米及干粮。向所有祝福者和志愿者说声 【感谢您】。这次的主要赞助单位为Jaya Grocer 及 Nestle Malaysia。

我们也同样的感激此活动配合单位，玛美里文化村的协调与奉献。

我们希望这些奉献可以减轻有需家庭的负担也给孩子们一些营养。
