After the Vassa period of 3 months, a day is selected within a month to celebrate Kathina, a ceremony whereby members and devotees offer the Kathina Robe and other requisites to the Maha Sangha who had observed 3 months vassa retreat, only once a year and during a specified period.

Under the guidance of Chief Rev B. Sri Saranankara Maha Thera, Malaysia Maha Karuna Buddhist Society initiated 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐈𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐊𝐚𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐚 to support 𝟏𝟎𝟖 𝐕𝐢𝐡𝐚𝐫𝐚 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐅𝐨𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐭 𝐌𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐬, specially at remote area in 𝟖 𝐜𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐭𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐬 to perform Kathina Ceremony this year, on different day between the Full Moon of October to the Full Moon of November 2021.

This International Kathina Ceremony will take place between

24 October 2021 (Sunday) – 19 November 2021 (Saturday)

at 108 Monasteries in 8 countries.

佰寺供僧衣 【 国际卡提那 】𝟭𝟬𝟴 卡提那供僧衣仪式

于3个月的结夏安居结束后，在1个月的期限里，各地佛寺将举办供袈裟日。该佛寺具比丘结夏安居后方可进行Kathina 供僧衣仪式。在这一天，佛友信徒等聚集供养僧衣及八资具于僧团，这仅一年一次于特定季节举办。

今年，在尊者斯里沙拉南加拉长老 （马来西亚南传首座司法长老）指引下，马来西亚宏慈佛教会发起国际卡提那以护持108所偏远地区之佛寺及丛林道场，分别在8个国家举办供Kathina（卡提那）袈裟仪式。

此佰寺供僧衣- 国际卡提那袈裟供僧仪式将于2021 年 10 月 24 日（星期日）至 2021年11月19日 (星期六）分别在 8 个国家的 108 所佛寺 举行。
