On 3 July 2021, the Maha Karuna Buddhist Society together with Yayasan Maha Karuna had distributed food to the needy community at Pantai Ria, Pantai Dalam, Kuala Lumpur. ๐๐๐ ๐๐ค๐ค๐ ๐จ๐ช๐ฅ๐ฅ๐ก๐ฎ ๐๐จ ๐๐๐ฃ๐๐๐๐ฉ๐๐ฃ๐ 800 ๐๐๐ข๐๐ก๐๐๐จ, ๐ฃ๐๐๐ง๐ก๐ฎ 4000 ๐ฅ๐๐ค๐ฅ๐ก๐๐จ ๐ฌ๐๐ค ๐๐ง๐ ๐๐ฃ ๐จ๐๐ค๐ง๐ฉ๐๐๐ ๐ค๐ ๐๐ค๐ค๐ ๐๐ช๐ ๐ฉ๐ค ๐ฉ๐๐ ๐๐ข๐ฅ๐๐๐ฉ ๐ค๐ ๐ฉ๐๐ ๐ฅ๐๐ฃ๐๐๐ข๐๐ ๐๐ฃ๐ ๐ข๐ค๐ซ๐๐ข๐๐ฃ๐ฉ ๐๐ค๐ฃ๐ฉ๐ง๐ค๐ก ๐ค๐ง๐๐๐ง. EMCO of this area involves about 6400 residents from 1270 families. Due to the impact of the epidemic on livelihoods, the two-week movement control order is now even more plight for local residents.

Chief Reverend B.Sri Saranankara Maha Thera, the Director of Yayasan Maha Karuna presented today during the food handover at PRP Pantai Ria, Pantai Dalam, accompanied by En Faizul, Welfare Department Disaster Unit Coordinator of PPR Pantai Ria Pantai Dalam, En Fazli from Malaysia Civil Defence Force Officer and Ms Natasya Tan, Project Manager of Yayasan Maha Karuna.
Since its establishment in 2001, the Maha Karuna Buddhist Society Kuala Lumpur & Selangor has been providing assistance in education, medical care, and food to people in need for 20 years both local and abroad.
Since the beginning of the pandemic last year, the Maha Karuna Buddhist Society has distributed food to more than 20,000 entities (individuals or families) both locally and abroad. At the same time, medical equipment and educational assistance are given.
Due to the impact of the epidemic, the number of people involved in rescue projects is increasing! Maha Karuna Buddhist Society and Yayasan Maha Karuna have launched the ใ๐๐๐ง๐๐๐ฆ๐ข๐ ๐๐๐ฌ๐ฉ๐จ๐ง๐ ๐๐๐๐จ๐ซ๐ญ – ๐๐๐๐๐ ๐๐ ๐๐๐ง๐๐๐ฆ๐ข๐ ๐
๐ฎ๐ง๐ใprogram in June 2021 to actively gather public forces to assist the countryโs medical equipment and frontline personnel in the fight against the epidemic, especially to provide assistance due to the impact of the pandemic, the needy and the poor in families, etc., through the distribution of daily necessities of dry food to those in need, to help them tide over the difficulties and also help the country’s recovery.
