He said that the hospital has already planned to expand ward to deal with the coronavirus pandemic. In addition to the beds built in the open area, even the rooms that are usually used to dispose of medical waste will also be requisitioned and converted into temporary wards.
“The front-line medical personnel can’t fall down. Who will protect us when they are not at their posts, and medical patients. We have the choice, but they have no choice. They have their own family members like you and me, and have their own interests. What they had sacrificed due to this pandemic is not what you and I can imagine.”
โThe medical equipment in dire need now like Ventilators, High Flow Nasal Cannula or Ultrasound System is not just to cope with this pandemic but many of them can be utilised up to 10 yearsโ time.
