On 01 January 2025, Maha Karuna Vihara is honoured to receive the blessing of the Buddha Relics originally worshipped at Ruwanwelisaya, Anuradhapura.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

The Ruwanweli Maha Seya, also known as the Maha Thupa ( lit. ‘the Great Thupa’), is a stupa (a hemispherical structure containing relics) in Anuradhapura, Sri Lanka. Two quarts or one Dona of the Buddha’s relics are enshrined in the stupa, making it the largest collection of his relics anywhere.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

The Jaya Sri Maha Bodhi is situated 1.9km away from the Ruwanweli Maha Seya. The Jaya Sri Maha Bodhi is considered to be the oldest tree in recorded history (over 2,200 years old) and one of the most sacred relics for Buddhists all over the world, Jaya Sri Maha Bodhiya was brought to the Sri Lanka by Sanghamitra Thera and was planted by the then reigning monarch King Devanampiyatissa.<\/div>\n

\u9c81\u4e07\u5a01\u5229\u739b\u54c8\u585e\u4e9a (Ruwanweli Maha Seya)\uff0c\u4e5f\u79f0\u4e3a\u739b\u54c8\u56fe\u5e15 (Maha Thupa)\uff08\u5b57\u9762\u610f\u601d\u662f\u201c\u4f1f\u5927\u7684\u4f5b\u5854\u201d\uff09\uff0c\u662f\u65af\u91cc\u5170\u5361\u963f\u52aa\u62c9\u5fb7\u666e\u52d2\u7684\u4e00\u5ea7\u4f5b\u5854\uff08\u5305\u542b\u820d\u5229\u7684\u534a\u7403\u5f62\u7ed3\u6784\uff09\u3002\u4f5b\u5854\u5185\u4f9b\u5949\u7740\u4e24\u5938\u8131\u6216\u4e00\u591a\u7eb3\u7684\u4f5b\u9640\u820d\u5229\uff0c\u4f7f\u5176\u6210\u4e3a\u4e16\u754c\u4e0a\u6700\u5927\u7684\u4f5b\u820d\u5229\u6536\u85cf\u5730\u3002<\/div>\n

Ruwanweli Maha Seya \u8ddd\u79bbJaya Sri Maha Bodhi (\u9607\u8036\u5ba4\u5229\u6469\u8bc3\u83e9\u63d0\u6811)\u67091.9\u516c\u91cc\u3002\u9607\u8036\u5ba4\u5229\u6469\u8bc3\u83e9\u63d0\u6811\uff08\u50e7\u4f3d\u7f57\u8bed\uff1a\u0da2\u0dba \u0dc1\u0dca\u200d<\/span>\u0dbb\u0dd3 \u0db8\u0dc4\u0dcf \u0db6\u0ddc\u0db0\u0dd2\u0dba\uff09\uff0c\u6216\u79f0\u65af\u91cc\u5170\u5361\u5723\u83e9\u63d0\u6811\uff0c\u662f\u4f4d\u4e8e\u65af\u91cc\u5170\u5361\u963f\u52aa\u62c9\u5fb7\u666e\u52d2\u7684\u4e00\u682a\u83e9\u63d0\u6811\u3002\u3002 Jaya Sri Maha Bodhiya \u88ab\u8ba4\u4e3a\u662f\u6709\u8bb0\u8f7d\u7684\u5386\u53f2\u4e0a\u6700\u53e4\u8001\u7684\u6811\uff08\u8d85\u8fc7 2,200 \u5c81\uff09\uff0c\u4e5f\u662f\u5168\u4e16\u754c\u4f5b\u6559\u5f92\u6700\u795e\u5723\u7684\u6587\u7269\u4e4b\u4e00\uff0cJaya Sri Maha Bodhiya \u7531\u50e7\u4f3d\u5bc6\u7279\u62c9 (Sanghamitra Theri) \u5e26\u5230\u65af\u91cc\u5170\u5361\uff0c\u5e76\u88ab\u7531\u5f53\u65f6\u7684\u5728\u4f4d\u541b\u4e3b\u5fb7\u74e6\u7eb3\u76ae\u4e9a\u8482\u8428 (Devanampiyatissa) \u56fd\u738b\u79cd\u690d\u3002<\/div>\n
