On December 18th, 44 meditators concluded a profound 3-day Mindfulness Retreat with Chief Reverend B. Sri Saranankara at the BSF Retreat Centre in Hulu Langat. Over the past few days, participants immersed themselves in hourly sessions of mind development\u2014whether in seated meditation or mindful walking, indoors or amidst nature\u2014dedicated to enhancing awareness and perceiving reality as it is.<\/div>\n

Venerable Saranankara skillfully guided them through meditation instructions, daily interviews, and public Q&A sessions, generously sharing advice and encouragement.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

“Observe the sounds of nature, the birds, the insects, even the sounds of children… acknowledge them and continue your practice,” he emphasized.<\/div>\n

Teachings were conducted in English, complemented by Mandarin translation provided by Sister Yee Shin. We express our gratitude to Venerable Saranankara for orchestrating this retreat, enabling students to deepen their mental cultivation, embrace the truth of nature, see things as they are, and nurture gratitude and forgiveness. May the students persist on their paths, heeding Venerable’s counsel to integrate mindfulness into their daily lives.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
