Recently, Chief Reverend B. Sri Saranankara Nayaka Maha Thera had donated one unit of RO Instant water filter for the 600 families at Palugaswewa, Sri Lanka. It was a result of offering, gathered from many Buddhist friends during Chief Reverend 70th Birthday in October 2023. This contribution was named after Maha Karuna Buddshit Society Malaysia. We rejoice in the elder\u2019s compassion, generosity and his never forgetting the suffering of all sentient beings. We rejoice that the 600 families at this region can consume clean water since then for a better health! Anumodana!<\/p>\n

A blessing ceremony had been called and clean drinking water was first offered to the members of Maha Sangha.<\/p>\n
Reverend Maharambewewe Palitha and the Malaysian delegates Sister Doris Ngun and friends happily witnessed the start of the use of the RO Water filter. Later, the Buddhist members assisted to distribute candy, dessert and study materials which were\u00a0prepared by Chief Reverend Saranankara in advance for the Dhamma School children and villagers at Palugaswewa Aloka Vihara.<\/p>\n
