Buddha mentions TWO types of offering. Material offering and spiritual offering.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

\u3010Material Offering \u3011Dana offering for the virtues one that consider pooja, out of respect we offer it. If you offer to the needy because of compassion is called donation.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
\n
\u3010Spiritual offering\u3011that is the highest offering to the Buddha. Spiritual offering in a way of self development, self cultivation by observing and up-keeping the Precepts and living virtues life.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
\n
To live a better life, it is not only to develop own self qualities, but also to raise the other lives.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

MKBS had vegetarian lunch distribution of 500 pax to community in Malaysia, Kluang Johor on the Vesak Day itseld. In conjunction of (Vesak Day), Maha Karuna Buddhist Society also offered cooked food to more than 13,000 peoples in Sri Lanka at 5 different location on 15-16 May, 4 weeks food rations of Sangha Dana for more than 200 Sangha Members and 300 families receiving dry food rations.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

May all sentient beings share these merits accumulated from dana offering on Vesak Day. May all be well and happy.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
