On 11 & 12 April 2022, Reverend B. Siriwimala represented Maha Karuna Buddhist Society handover food provisions to the peoples of two villages at Ratnapura (Ambawila & Horepola, Godakawela). Reverend and two local temples had selected 200 underprivileged families to accept the food provisions. Maha Karuna Buddhist Society hopes that this food provisions would assist in lightening the financial burden of the villagers due to the recent Economy crisis happened in Sri Lanka, and assist them to prepare for the upcoming Sinhala New Year on 14 April 2022. Each family received 20kg of rice, noodles, flours, darl and others dry food.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
