【Maha Karuna Buddhist Society Malaysia】30 May 2026 | Wesak Eve Celebration at Maha Karuna Vihara
Maha Karuna Vihara joyfully celebrated the auspicious occasion of Wesak Day. The celebration commenced with paying homage to the Triple Gem (Buddha, Dhamma and Sangha) and devotional offerings by devotees and well-wishers.
The evening puja was led by Venerable Ridigama Wanaratana Thero, followed by a Dhamma sermon, inspiring devotees to reflect upon the Buddha’s teachings of wisdom, compassion, and loving-kindness.
The next day, we will continue to commemorate this auspicious Wesak with the Buddha Bathing Ceremony, Buddha Jayanti Exhibition, Sutra Copying Program, Children’s Activities, and complimentary vegetarian food offerings. The temple also provided free Western and Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) consultations as a service to the community from morning 9 o’clock to evening 5 o’clock.
The 2026 Wesak Day Celebration welcomed hundred of devotees and members of the public who gathered to rejoice in the Buddha’s teachings and share in the blessings of this sacred occasion.
May the light of wisdom, compassion, and loving-kindness shine upon all beings.
【马来西亚宏慈佛教会】2026年5月30日｜宏慈寺卫塞节前夕庆典
宏慈寺欢庆殊胜吉祥的卫塞节前夕。活动以供养三宝、礼敬三宝拉开序幕，信众们齐聚大雄宝殿参与浴佛仪式及抄经活动，共同忆念佛恩，培植福慧资粮。
晚间法会由Venerable Ridigama Wanaratana Thero主法，带领大众诵经祈福，并慈悲开示佛法，引导大众学习佛陀的智慧与慈悲精神。
卫塞节庆典于翌日继续展开，活动包括全天免费素食结缘、浴佛仪式、佛诞展览会、抄经活动、儿童活动以及免费西医与中医义诊服务，与大众广结善缘，共庆佛陀圣诞。
2026年卫塞节庆典吸引逾百位信众及公众人士踊跃参与，共沾法喜，同庆佳节。
愿佛光普照，慈悲遍洒人间；愿众生离苦得乐，福慧增长，吉祥安康。
