Rejoice with the meritorious deed of Buddhist friends in the recent Maha Sanghika Dana Offering🙏🏻
The 4th Ten Thousand Maha Sanghika Dana organized by the Maha Karuna Buddhist Society Malaysia has been completed auspiciously.
A total of 11,205 sangha members from remote areas of 8 countries accepted offering in the 4th Ten Thousand Maha Sanghika Dana.
Most Venerable Bootawattee Sri Saranankara Nayaka Maha Thera (Founder of Maha Karuna Buddhist Society Malaysia | Abbot of Sri Lanka Buddhist Temple, Kuala Lumpur | Religious Advisor of Young Buddhist Association Malaysia | Religious Advisor of Theravada Buddhist Council Malaysia | Chief Justice of Theravada Sangha Malaysia – Chief Adhikarana Sangha Nayaka Malaysia ) had led the members of Maha Sangha to conduct merit dedication at the Ruwanwelisaya Stupa in Anuradhapura, Sri Lanka on February 25, 2024.
The participating countries and the number of Maha Sangha accepted offering are as follows:

2️⃣ Bhutan (406 Sangha Members)
3️⃣ India (7049 Sangha Members)
4️⃣ Laos (50 Sangha Members)
5️⃣ Vietnam (57 Sangha Members)
6️⃣ Myanmar (2132 Salayay)
7️⃣ Nepal (475 Sangha Members)
8️⃣ Uganda (Africa) (23 Sangha Members)
The Maha Karuna Buddhist Society Malaysia (KL & Selangor) expresses gratitude to Most Venerable Bootawatte Sri Saranankara Nayaka Maha Thera, the Chief Justice of Malaysia Theravada Sangha, for his compassionate guidance and facilitation of this auspicious offering event.

Special thanks to the volunteer coordinators, Sis Lee Ling and Yee Shin, for their dedicated efforts. Despite being busy during the Chinese Lunar New Year and spending time with their families, they tirelessly assisted in coordinating the event, issuing receipts, arranging the offering and merit dedication lists, coordinating with monk delegations from various countries, and handling all matters related to offering. This also includes the preparation of reports and offering video production.
May the merits accummulated be dedicated to world peace. May the Buddha’s teachings remain, may the Sangha community be harmonious, may the Sangha community be in good health, and may the volunteers and well wishers receive abundant blessings and conditions for attaining enlightenment. May all sentient beings be free from suffering and attain the happiness of enlightenment.
