Beside the chant of blessings at Bodhgaya,Chief Reverend Saranankara too chant the blessings for all the well-wishers that had participated in light offering program at Mahabodhi Mahavihara Temple, Bodhgaya India.
With the surplus of fund gathered for light offerings, Chief Reverend Saranankara advised Maha Karuna management to manage this fund wisely. The fund shall not be kept for any purpose, therefore fund had been allocated to feed the poor, public and homeless as well as perform Dana to members of Maha Sangha at Bodhgaya India.
The Dana offering is being performed continuously between 1-3 January 2024 and if there is surplus, donation will be made for chosen beneficiary in Bodhgaya India while society delegate is still in Bihar during January 2024.
May this altruistic initiatives and
blessings shower upon all sentient beings, reflects a compassionate start to the new year.
May the acts of kindness extend and benefit all sentient beings, bringing joy and harmony in 2024.

2024年的第一天
在菩提伽耶的祝福之声中，尊者斯里沙拉南加拉长老也为所有参与在印度菩提伽耶摩诃菩提寺（正觉塔）供奉燃灯的十方善信祈祷祝福。
随着点灯仪式筹集到的资金剩余，尊者斯里沙拉南加拉长老建议宏慈佛教会管理层明智地善用这笔资金。这笔资金不应该保留于任何其他用途。因此次善款已分配用于给贫困人群、公众和无家可归者提供食物，同时供僧道粮于僧伽成员。
布施活动将在2024年1月1日至3日之间进行，如有余额，将于宏慈佛教会代表仍在印度比哈尔期间安排捐赠给印度菩提伽耶的特定受益群体。
愿这利他的举措将祝福一切有情众生，为新的一年带来慈悲的开端。愿善举和善行延伸，使2024年充满喜悦和和谐。
