Senior Citizen Appreciation Day is an annual program held to pay gratitude and appreciation to the senior citizens who have contributed and worked hard to serve this blessed country of ours.
In our race to develop materially, we often to forget to make the senior members of our society to feel needed and respected. An event like this will educate and remind the younger generation on the selfless contribution and services of the previous generation.
Year 2022 Senior Citizen Appreciation Program will take place in January 2022, with 2000 senior citizen above 70 years old and OKU members will receive the household provisions.
This program is jointly organised by Maha Karuna Buddhist Society and Yayasan Maha Karuna with Dharma Light Monastery, Malaysia Mahayana Buddhist Association, Persatuan Penganut Bodhi Dhama Vihara Malaysia and Persatuan Dharmakaya Vihara Malaysia.
