于二零二一年五月廿八日，宏慈佛教会分发粮食于受疫情影响的贫困家庭。受惠家庭一共150户，位于斯里兰卡南部Weligame。粮食分配给予这些受惠家庭，以帮助他们暂时脱离饥饿。

On 28 May 2021, Malaysia Maha Karuna Buddhist Society distributed food provision at South Sri Lanka, Weligame. A total of 150 needy families are benefited. The village is badly affected by the pandemic and families total lost their income resources. Food provision were distributed to each families to support them free from hunger for time being.
