Malaysia Maha Karuna Buddhist Society urges well-wishers to support India through the crisis.
Hospitals and health centres across India are struggling to cope with overwhelming new coronavirus cases and are in need of more oxygen concentrators, rapid testing kits and other medical aids.
“The health system in India is severely stretched because of the latest deadly wave of Covid-19 in the country,” said the Founder and Spiritual Advisor of Malaysia Maha Karuna Buddhist Society.
“We shall share our care and love with them to let them know they are not alone. Chief Reverend B Sri Saranankara Maha Thera who is also the President of International Buddhist Confederation.
