A New Milestone in Dharma Propagation and Community Service
Maha Karuna Vihara warmly invites the public, devotees, and friends to attend its Inauguration Ceremony on Saturday, 8 August 2026, to celebrate this significant milestone.

Venue: No. 12, Persiaran Shorea, Elmina, Seksyen U17 Elmina, 40160 Sungai Buloh, Selangor
The ceremony will begin with a Buddhist Chanting and Blessing Ceremony, followed by the official inauguration, marking a new chapter in the templeโs mission of promoting the Buddhaโs teachings and serving the community.
Visitors can also enjoy Cultural Performances, a Charity Bazaar and Complimentary Vegetarian Food. Proceeds from the charity bazaar will support the templeโs construction fund and future Dharma, educational, and charitable activities.
In conjunction with the inauguration, Nine Days of Chanting and Blessing Ceremonies will be held from 8โ15 August 2026, followed by the Offering of Requisites to the Maha Sangha on 16 August 2026.
Established in 2001 under the guidance of Chief Reverend Bootawatte Sri Saranankara Nayaka Maha Thera, Maha Karuna Vihara is dedicated to promoting Buddhist education, compassion, and community service.
